AI Search Optimization
When patients ask AI about treatments, does your practice come up?
Search is moving from a list of links to answers assembled by AI. We build pages that get understood — and surfaced — by both.
Getting found in the age of AI answers
The old version of search was a single keyword and ten blue links. That’s fading. Patients now type or speak whole questions — about a concern, a treatment, a result — and expect a real answer. More and more, that answer is assembled by AI first: Google’s AI overviews sitting on top of the results, and tools like ChatGPT becoming the starting point for a lot of people.
We won’t pretend anyone knows exactly where this lands. What we’re confident about is the direction, and what it asks of your website.
What AI needs to recommend your practice
For a search engine or an AI system, the job is the same: understand your page well enough to trust it as an answer. That comes down to a page clearly saying four things —
- What the service is — explained plainly, the way a patient asks about it.
- Who it’s for — honest candidacy, who a treatment may be appropriate for, not “right for everyone.”
- Where you are — real local relevance, because a lot of decisions close locally.
- Why you’re credible — provider expertise, results, and trust signals a person and a machine can both read.
The good news: this is the same clear, well-structured writing that helps a real patient decide. Serving people and serving AI is increasingly the same job.
How we do it
We build and rewrite pages so they’re easy for both a person and a system to understand. In practice that means:
- Clear structure — question-style headings, direct answers, FAQs that handle the worry before the consult.
- Schema that matches the page — if the markup implies something, the content is actually there. We don’t fake it.
- Honest candidacy and expectations — the responsible-authority standard we hold for all aesthetic content, which also happens to be what AI systems reward.
- No keyword stuffing — that’s a relic. We write for understanding, not for a robot counting words.
- Local relevance built in naturally — genuine local reference points, not city names jammed everywhere.
We hold this firmly, not rigidly
This part of search is genuinely moving, and we’d rather be honest than sound certain. Some of what’s true this year won’t be next year. So we test, we watch what’s actually getting surfaced, and we adjust — rather than assuming last year’s playbook still holds. Part of what you’re paying a partner for is someone sifting the useful from the hype and bringing you the parts that earn their place.
